GH11: walls raising further

Weather was cooperative this past week. Second floor walls were added since Wednesday (Sept 28), as well as the framework for porch decking and most of the roof supports. Work continued Monday with the help of a crane to lift trusses, to be followed by the roof as this first week of October unfolds. We will see what the unpredictable weather has in store.

Thanks to all of you who are following the progress. For us, the surprises come and go, as do new decisions as Ross asks us how we want to handle various choices. He and his team (Jordan, Matt, and occasionally Rance) have been great, and are putting the roof on as I type.

Funding status:  main guest house is fully funded; about $30,000 still needed for the guest cottage.

Stayed tuned for next post (probably Friday).
