August and the first half of September were full of travel & teaching for Santikaro. It was a joy to return to Liberation Park, a garden full of tomatoes & other delights, and loads of apples. A friend of a friend has lent us an old-fashioned cider press that works great. It chips the whole apples into pulp, then presses the juice out. Gushes. People powered. We’ve been enjoying fresh squeezed juice and sharing it with friends and neighbors. One of the simple pleasures of a non-monetarized life.
