Due to heavy rains & saturated soils, the septic field contractor couldn’t get to work until last week.
Once they got started, they moved fast. Rye grass is sprouting already, with more recent rains, on the areas they dug & landscaped.
Another big project is moving along, also slowed by rains. After Labor Day, the roof of the root cellar should go up.
Next will be the plumbing system from well to cellar and then distributed to cabin, barn, and garage.
Many thanks to all the donors who have made these installations possible. Soon, LP will have infrastructure to make the cabin inhabitable and, later, community kitchen & other facilities for retreatants.
