Trusty Boris helps deliver materials
With help from Austin (of Viroqua) and James (of Milwaukee) we’ve organized a large shipment of lumber, begun cutting it into the pieces that will frame walls, and have framed three walls. Seven more walls to go, some small & easy, some longer and taller. All fun & fascinating to learn. The next one will be the hardest. More help is coming tomorrow and more walls are likely to be framed, perhaps raised as well.
The weather has been cooperating, viewed from a very limited anthropomorphic perspective. Tho it may not notice what we’re doing, I’m grateful for the dry weather nevertheless. And even more for the companionship & help of others.
More trees are begin to turn but the days have remained warm. The land reminds us daily of our many blessings.
