The scope and depth of meditation practice is vast within Buddhism, let alone all the worlds spiritual traditions. Anapanasati (mindfulness with breathing) is our foundation practice, one we learn to bring into many aspects of daily life.
Skilful meditators usually employ supplemental practices along with their core practice. Some that we find especially useful are:
Metta-Bhavana
Tong-Len ("Taking & Giving")
Reflection on Forgiveness
Reflection on Gratitude
Reflection on Death
Body Scanning
Mindfulness of Elements
Ennea-Type Meditations
In time, descriptions and advice regarding these practices will be provided here. Competent texts are available for most of the above.
